The 'Standard for Years' hat , part of the Sweet Caporal Collection, draws inspiration from the markings on the back of a 1910 Sweet Caporal Cy Young HOF baseball pin. Sweet Caporal was known for distributing collectible pins as a unique form of advertising.

SWEET CAPORAL
Our first collection is inspired by Sweet Caporal Cigarettes, a 19th-century tobacco brand founded by Abbot Kinney. After becoming one of the top U.S. cigarette brands, Kinney used his success to develop Venice, CA in 1905.
The collection combines vintage advertising, bold typography, and unique cultural references. Staying true to Off Abbot’s mission of blending Venice’s rich past with modern streetwear, the pieces subtly nod to Kinney’s lasting impact on the city.
